Van

I got to go with Van on his school field trip to the Natural History Museum.
I had never been, it was really neat!

It was Van's month for a date with mom. He invited Clark to come along.
These two brother's have a special bond.
Van did a report on Abraham Lincoln and had to dress up like him when he shared facts about him.
Van's art work.
Van's class performed a play, The Mischievous Bugs at his school Gallery Night.
Van was a fly.
These two were able to play on the same basketball team.
It was fun watching them learn a new skill.

Cheer Comes to an End

Grandma came to watch Daisy perform her last cheer at school.

Then she performed the same cheer that night at the 51's Baseball Game.
She did great and had a lot of fun!
Love this spunky girl of mine!
A couple weeks later she was in a wagon accident.
Her friend was pulling her fast and made a sharp turn
and Daisy scraped up her hands, knees and face.
This is probably the worse she's been hurt, she's my dramatic one, so I was worried.
Needless to say she did much better than I'd thought she'd do.
At first it got ugly, but it healed completely.

Easter 2015

Easter started out as a typical Easter morning. Kids looking for and finding the Easter Baskets and Easter Eggs, following General Conference, which we watched at home and enjoyed being together as a family. Later that day we were just about to head out the door for the Jensen Easter Egg Hunt and dinner, when our measuring board fell on Clark. All the kids started screaming and crying as blood ran down Clark's face. We cleaned him up, went to dinner and as soon as Clark finished his Easter Egg Hunt we were off to get him stitched up. Thankfully, Danny's best friend is a Plastic Sergent and met us at his office, stitched him up and we were off. Clark was tough and did great! I think this is one Easter my kids will never forget!

 Easter Dress (two weeks later).

Contest Entry

A hospital near me is having a contest for mothers who need a break. They wanted us to share our funniest moments. The funny thing is most of my "funny" moments happened with the twins when they were toddlers. Here was my entry...
Ever since I was a young girl all I ever wanted to grow up and be was a mother. If anyone ever asked the question, what do you want to be when you grow up? The answer was always an easy one, “A mother.” I feel so blessed to say I have SIX children and baby number SEVEN will be joining our family this July.
My oldest will be 12 in May, I have a 10 year old, 8 year old, twin 6 year olds and a 3 year old. Life has slowed down a bit since 5 are now in school, but every morning before they leave and after they get home you just might say my life is a little busy!
As I read through my blog to find the funniest story to share, I found quite a few!
There was the Vaseline incident, the lotion made with oil and butter, the baby powder, the broken glass table top, the dumped bucket of raw rice, the toilet papered bedroom, the dumped laundry soap, the mascara, the permanent marker on the cabinets, walls, carpets (you name it), the mud “fight”, the toddler that crashed the car, the ramen food “fight”, the indoor water “fight” using the water from the toilet bowl... It seems as though the list could go on and on. I’m so glad I documented all these not so funny events when they happened, because now I smile and even laugh about this list!

I love my children and feel so blessed to have each of them in my life, but sometimes I need a break!

26 Weeks and It's a GIRL

So we were going to be surprised and not find out what we were having this time. On Wed. I had all my kids with me at my doctors appointment and the ultrasound tech slipped. So we are excited to know that another baby GIRL will be joining our family this July! We plan to name her Jane.
Most of the kids were wanting a girl especially Daisy, she ran around screaming when she heard. Clark on the other hand keeps saying, "No, a boy!" I think he wants to stay the baby, he also says, "I want Max to hold me!"

Spring Break 2015

Day 2: We got up early and had a quick play at the beach with the cousins.
We went to see Baxter play Jukes in the play Peter Pan.
We swam at Aunt Rebecca's and stayed their (all 17 of us) for the weekend.
Day 3: We went to church in my old Chino ward with my dad.
We let the kids swim at grandpa and grandma's house.
Day 4: Danny took the big kids to LEGOLAND and I took the littles to the beach house with the cousins. I had gotten such a great deal for LEGOLAND, but I was only able to get 4 tickets. Hanna has been begging to go for 2 years now. I had heard it would be more fun for the younger kids, but the older ones had never been so we took a chance and yes, they were bored, but now they've been. Now I need to get the younger 3 there before they get too old.

Day 5: We are back in Vegas and we took the kids to see the movie HOME.
Day 6: Dyed Easter Eggs and went swimming at Danny's house he is flipping.
 We are so BLESSED!
It was April Fool's and I waited all day to do this trick on the kids. JELLO not juice! Heeheehee!
Day 7: At the Children's Museum
