Scout Activity for Max

The priest went to St. George for their Scout Activity.
They rented a house so there was no camping involved.
They did go hiking, boating and had lots of fun!

They served in the temple as well.

Van Goes to Scout Camp

Van had an adventure at Scout Camp with the Mts. Edge Ward.
They went repelling, hiking, cliff jumping, camping and boating.
Van is off to Scout Camp!

It was still cold in Duck Creek as you can see there is still snow!
Van couldn't pass up the dare to jump in the freezing lake
and swim for $10. My kids will do almost anything for money!

That's pretty narrow!

Thanks to the two leaders that took these boys!
These pictures are breath taking.
What a beautiful world we live in!

Boating With The Jolley's

The hot dog raft, is the kids' favorite.

Flag boy Clark and Walt is wake boarding.
More fun on the hot dog raft.
Steve told Van if he got up he'd pay him $10.
Little did Steve know this boy will do anything for money!
 Keeping COOL.
 Jane loved the lake.
We are always so grateful to the Jolley's for inviting our huge family to the lake with them.
We know it's not easy to bring an extra 9 people,
but this lake day is always a highlight of the summer!
The water was perfect and the day was great until the drive home.
Not sure if the kids got over heated or dehydrated or just sick, but one by one they started getting sick and throwing up on the car ride home. It was one of those never ending car rides.
Funny, but disgusting story...
I had Hanna throw-up in a Styrofoam bowl that happened to be in the car.
When I went to dump the throw-up out the window the bowl folded inward and throw-up came shooting back at me.

Just 2 days later Danny and Max went on a scout trip on a houseboat on the lake.
 Go Max

Go Danny!
