Doral Academy

The Charter School the kids go to is an Arts Integrated Charter School.

That means they get a lot of extra fun electives! 

They have music, violin, art, media arts, Spanish, theater and dance. 

They take 3 of those electives each semester. 

I love all the wonderful extras they get to experience during school!

Last week in art Daisy and Walt learned about Aboriginal Art, which is also known as dot art. 

They learned all about it and then created their very own Aboriginal Art.

Daisy is Super Citizen

Daisy received the Super Citizen award for Honesty!

She was so excited about this!

Walt got one last year and she didn't. Walt already got one this year so she thought that meant she won't be getting one. She was ecstatic when she realized she was getting one. I was so relived. #Mother of twins.

1st Grade Field Trip

I hate missing my kids field trips! I'm lucky that Daisy and Walt's teacher is also my friend and text me some cute pics. I also had other friends that were able to make it and text me pics. as well. 

I knew they'd have fun even if I wasn't there. They enjoyed their day at Bonnie Springs Park!

Doral Soccer

Hanna finished up her soccer season with her school. 

It was a sad season for her and her team with not one win. 

She still loves playing soccer though!

Hanna participated in a debate in her class. She did a great job!

She got to go to Pahrump yesterday and play with her best friends, Briley and Savanna!

We sure miss these cute girls!
