Mexico: Day 2 Dee's Ashes

Jeff placed Dee's ashes on the cliff
(they're in a biodegradable box)
As soon as he walked away
a wave came and washed them away.

We took a trip to Baja CA, Mexico with
Danny, Jeff, Cindy, Tom and Becky to

We stayed at one of Cindy/Becky's friends place
over looking the beach.
In the house.
We took a little walk on the beach

First place we ate was fish tacos.

Went to a fancy restaurant
and then had Thrifty ice cream

Dorothy Dean Reade

Dee passed away early this morning. We were blessed with the opportunity to have her live with us last year. I will be forever grateful to her for raising such an amazing son that I get to call my husband. I feel peace knowing that she’s out of pain and in a much happier place. This past month every time we’ve been visiting her, before leaving we would sing a children’s hymn. I’m grateful we had the opportunity just this past Sunday to visit with her and sing to her as a family. We love you Dee.

I'm grateful for the knowledge of the Plan of Salvation.
I know we will see Dee again.

Happy Grandparent's Day

First we visited Grandma Dee Dee.

Dee's memory is pretty much gone now,
but when we sing church songs with her
she can sing the words with us.

Then we visited Grandma Susan & Jim.
We had tacos at their house.

August Misc.

Max only played one football game this season.
He tried talking with his coaches about his position.
He was playing lineman, but felt that no matter how hard he worked
he couldn't improve his skills. Even though he's 6'4" and 200 lbs.
the players he defended where still 100 lbs more than him.
He felt he was getting yelled at for nothing he could do.
His coaches told him he would gain 50 lbs. this season
and would be staying in that position.
He was hoping to play tight end or Defensive End.
He decided not to play this season,
because we didn't agree with him gaining 50 lbs.
Jane always asks for her turn to read from
The Book of Mormon.

Jane reading.
Daisy got hair nails and toes painted
at the Nail Salon for her birthday.
We were finally able to meet Rachael and Taylor's
baby, Emmett. He was blessed here in Las Vegas.
They currently live in North Carolina.
 Hanna and some friends.
Jane "reading" during family scripture time.
Visiting Dee at the Memory Care Center.

I've been teaching Preschool from home
for about 13 years.
When Preschool is in your home you can wear
whatever you want, even a swimsuit.
Preschool daily sign-in.
Our friends saw that the wind storm broke our
basketball hoop, so they gave us theirs
because no one used it anymore.
We can officially fit all NINE of us around
this beautiful table Danny made us.
Jane prefers sleeping in our closet rather than her own bed.
