Walt wanted to ditch on his birthday for the first time.

Danny took him and Van out for Sushi.

A couple nights later we took Daisy & Hanna out to Olive Garden.

Sunday we celebrated as a family.

Last day in Massachusetts

I got back home from MASS last night. I’m so grateful I got to take this trip with my dad and a couple of my siblings. The past 2 days we saw a couple of dad’s friends, his best friend Sonny’s family (Sonny passed from cancer a couple years ago). We drove around the big city Worcester and again through Spencer, Sturbridge and even Podunk.

As you drive along the back roads you see trees, then a house,

trees, a lake or pond, trees, an old cemetery and more trees.

I lived in MASS. around the age of 3-4 1/2, I have just a couple of memories there and I can’t help to wonder what I’d be like today if I grew up there. Some memories I have while living there; I remember when dad threw mine and Greg’s pacifiers out the window on the way home from Aunt Judy’s house, my Great Grandma Layton sitting in her chair in the back bedroom in Aunt Judy’s house knitting my Christmas stocking I got to pick out. Of course going to Aunt Judy & Uncle Roland’s probably every Sunday. I remember swinging in our swing set behind our house and being stung by a bee. I remember walking with the neighbor girl to preschool in my blue rainbow moon boots.

I’m grateful for the happy memories I have of living back east in beautiful Massachusetts.

St. George with the Family

 We stayed at a house in St. George at Desert Color Resort with all our kids and even our cute grand baby, Finn. We were so bummed the Lagoon closed for maintenance the day we got there, but still had lots of fun together! We swam, went to a water park, went paddle boarding at Sand Hallow, played games and pickleball of course (Heather rocks at pickleball), we loved having everyone together! My big kids left Friday and Rebecca, Vincent, Michael and my mom joined us for the rest of our stay. My dad came up and stayed in a hotel for a couple nights as well. My parents, Rebecca, Michael and I went to my Aunt Chrystal's moms funeral Saturday morning. I’m bummed I didn’t get pics. with my siblings. It was wonderful spending the week with our loved ones.

We took the family to the waterpark to make up for the lagoon.

Grandma watched Finn for a little bit at the waterpark.

Sand Hallow

While in St. George one evening me, Danny, Van, Walt, Clark and Jane went to Sand Hallow.

The 3 boys swam out to far away bowie.

Danny paddle boarded out to them to be sure they were okay.

Jane floated on her tub.

We enjoyed the beauty of Sand Hallow and sunset.

Then Jane and I got to paddle board.
