Clark's Story...
101 Year Old Clark!
I love his story!
I loved that he talked about wearing his pajamas,
because he loves his one piece Minecraft jammies.
"I think that when I am 101 years old
I'll wear my pajamas and watch t.v.
In the morning I'll hurry and get food,
then I'll hurry and go start watching t.v.
On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
I'll dance with my cane. Then I'll eat
lunch at 1:00 pm. I'll eat dinner at
4:30 pm and go to sleep."

Girls Weekend in Flagstaff
A girls weekend was just what I needed!
We weren't sure if we were going to make it to Flagstaff.
They had gotten 32 inches of snow the day before,
which was the biggest snow storm in over 100 years.
The roads opened so we were able to go!
Me, Carolee and Laura having fun in the snow.
Me sledding.
The are we stayed at.
Carolee, me and Laura
Went to Greg and Heather's for dinner.
Ella had given a talk in church and told me it 2 times :)
Ella gave Jane her old nightgowns and slippers.
Jane was so excited she had to wear all of them
throughout the day.

Happy Chinese New Year
To celebrate Chinese New Year
Danny and I ate Beef Noodle Soup.
It was spicy hot!
I was able to talk all about my mission in Taiwan
to the youth in my ward and I loved it!
I love talking about my mission!
I shared about the many trials I went through...
Food trials, language trials, companion trials, cockroach trials...
Then I shared the biggest lesson I learned was the difference
between sacrifice and obedience and how much more
blessed my companion and I were when we were strictly obedient.
Then I shared this paragraph from my mission call...
"The Lord will reward the goodness of your life.
Greater blessings and more happiness than you have yet
experienced await you as you humbly and prayerfully
serve the Lord in this labor of love among his children."
which makes me cry every time I read it, because it's so true!
So I embarrassed my kids!
Then I talked about the many blessings that I've been
blessed with from serving a mission. And even though it was
hard and I had lots of trials when I think back on my mission
the first thoughts that come to mind are the blessings and joy from serving.
Then I shared my testimony in Chinese.
I'm so thankful I had the opportunity to serve a mission!

Haley's Homecoming
When she left 18 months ago.
We tried to recreate the before pic.,
but we had two sick kids that weren't in the mood.
We should have had Haley take off her heels,
to show how much the kids have grown.

Happy Valentines Day!
Mom fail: The day started fine...I had done a simple breakfast (yogurt with strawberries and granola) since I knew we’d be tired from staying up late last night to welcome Haley home. Got the kids off to school, taught preschool with a V-day party, did mom stuff, then I was writing all the kids a love note and I was watching the time thinking I have to finish before the kids get home...then at 3:36 I’m like the kids are late, I wonder why they’re not home yet, then I remembered! It was my day to pickup and it wasn’t just my kids 😱!! The poor kids had been standing in the cold rain 🌧 I felt horrible! Thankfully, kids are pretty forgiving, I asked them for forgiveness and they forgave me ❤️.
I think my own kids were more willing to forgive me after steak dinner 😜!
Happy Valentines Day!
They warmed up in the hot tub.
Steak dinner with the family.
I saw this quote and wrote it on the back of each of the cards,
because it's perfect.
Roses from Danny.
Sugar's not sure what to think of this rain.
