December Misc.

Skippy band Buddy are become good friends.
We watched Buddy for Kurt for Christmas.

We love $5 Tuesday Movies.
During the month of December we saw Wicked, Moana 2 and Sonic 3.

Clark made breakfast for the family.

We have been meeting our gym goals!
Hanna was overly joyed to hit her PR before the end of the year.

Max and Heather weren't with us on Christmas Day, but they came for the weekend.

We enjoyed having them here with us!

New Year's Eve with the Finken's!

Chris planned some fun $ winning games and Hanna hit the jackpot wining over $60.
One game she made a Ping-Pong ball in a cup throwing it from the 2nd floor and won $50.

Merry Christmas

My Christmas letter was short this year, but filled with amazing blessings.
I have been so bad at taking pictures, but we enjoyed the spirit of Christmas Sunday,
played some fun games and watched a movie on Christmas Adam and
had a yummy Christmas Eve dinner and played more games as a family.
It’s our first Christmas without Max,
but we are looking forward to seeing him and Heather this weekend.

Grandpa Ernie's Baptism

I’m going to copy what my brother Kurt wrote, because I can’t say it better. “We made a quick trip to California for a truly special occasion—celebrating and witnessing my dad’s baptism. Seeing his bright countenance and happiness was a moment I’ll never forget. It’s amazing to watch someone you love embrace a new chapter with so much joy and light.

I’m also reminded how grateful I am for family—for the way we support one another, even in our differences. Those connections mean everything.”

What a truly special occasion it was! I am grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ and his atoning sacrifice, which has made this day possible and to the family members and friends that have been there to support my dad along this path. So proud of my dad!

I gave a talk and dad bore his testimony.

Enjoyed eating and swimming before heading back home.

Walt holding a HS photo of Grandpa Ernie.

We had Uncle Michael on our drive from Vegas to CA and since I'm now one of the shorter ones
I was squished in the backseat between Walt and Van.

Letter from dad.

Clark

Clark was a little bummed he didn’t make student council, but I love his humor and creativity. I’m proud of him for putting himself out there and giving it a shot. He loved being apart of Student Council in 6th grade and was looking forward to being in it this year. Hopefully, he’ll try again next year.

I'm proud of you Clark!

Traditional Tree Decorating Timelapse

It’s pretty embarrassing taking a picture in front of our Christmas tree when we’re all taller than it. Sadly, we had a snow globe break inside the ornament box which included all our kids’ childhood homemade ornaments and also included our tree skit, which was made by Danny’s grandma. Most everything was ruined from mold.

Lots of cute pics like this one of Hanna were ruined.
